Yep, just order the set from The Tackle Trap. Did mine a while back.

Re: Buying rods thru buyee/yahoo jp
I've ordered a couple of rods through Buyee. Paid for the extra packaging from Buyee. Both rods arrived just fine and well packed.

Re: What happen to the Z hype?
I thought this was going to be about gossiping about a Daiwa Z1016. Now what's this you speak of??? Any evidence for this claim or time frames??? The Z1016 is a magical, mythical creature that all Daiwa fans have been pining for ever since the Z2020 came out. At this point, I'm thinking it never wi...

Re: New Daiwa?
At that price point, I'm not very interested, but I do like the fact that Daiwa is still looking at smaller reels. (although that reel seems to have a relatively deep spool). Maybe they have a higher end one in the works. A modern day Sol or maybe even Pixy to replace the SV105 that got discontinued!

Re: Can anyone compare the NRX 852 and dx702?
Pretty much ditto the previous post. I had the 2nd gen DX 702 and have a NRX 852. The 702 might work for 110s in a pinch, but wouldn't be my choice. A little too light in power for my taste for that. It'd probably be good for 110 Jrs and other smaller jerkbaits.

Off the top of my head, I'd say either a 50th Anniversary Zillion or a PO TD-Z.

Re: Affordable bfs rods???
Deinitely check out Major Craft rods. Great rods for the price. For the $120 price point, you're looking at 2 piece rods in a couple of their series. Howver, don't be off put by the 2 piece rods. I had one for a while and had no problems with it. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Major-Craft-FIRSTCAST-2-piec...

Strike King 3X ElazTech Denny Brauer Bitsy Chunk. Never really cared for the ElazTech stuff, except for jig trailers. Last forever and highly buoyant.

Re: First look at new Megabass Orochi XX rods
I definitely see a Braillist in my future! I've been in the market for something for football jigs and Biffle bug rigs. Now, whether to replace my Flat Side Special and Perfect Pitch????

Re: Megabass Rhodium reel?
However, I would have swore that their first T Wing reel would have been a Steez variant, though. So who knows! Not to nitpick but their first T-Wing reel was the T3 variant FX line 8-) If this is based on the Tatula, I can see it losing them some credibility, unless it's a such an amazing performe...

Re: Megabass Rhodium reel?
Forgive my ignorance, but can somebody clarify if this is based on the Tatula SV platform or a Steez. Thanks! Tatula CT/Tatula SV/Zillon SV frame 6+1 bearings so tatula Not sure if the bearing count would determine the source reel. Wouldnt the spool assembly be a better sign? Speed shaft or not? Ye...

Re: spool bearing pin removal tool
I use the SLP Works one. I like it a lot better than the Hedgehog version. https://i.imgur.com/g2lfj95.jpg https://i.imgur.com/JmNx1DX.jpg I couldn't agree more! I've tried several different ones. Hated the Boca pliers. The Hedgehog Studio/Ray's Studio style is fine, but for me the SLP seems the ea...
