Re: '19 Steez ct sv tw

Hi fellas; I'm thinking to switch my old steez TN that I have paired with my Steez Racing Design Hustler 701MH/H for Steez CT and switch the TN to my RSR jig rod. I'm using Steez Racing Design Hustler 701MH for weightless softbaits and some light texas applications where I think that skipping will ...

Re: Want to try a higher end spinning reel

Another vote for Daiwa when it comes to spinning reels. I have both the 15 Exist and current model Exist. If I were in the market for another spinning reel, it’d be the Luvias Airity for sure!

Adrena has to be lighter in weight.
Yep, my PA 172H arrived yesterday and it’s extremely light in weight! Hope to get it on the water later this week.

Re: MB orochi perfect pitchvs poison adrena 72h

I’m curious to hear feedback on the PA 172H as well. I just sold my P5 X Bites as it just didn’t have enough backbone to it for pitching small to medium baits, I’m hoping the PA 172H will fit the bill.

Re: Zillion sv TW 1000

Had a feeling the defense mechanisms would eventually show up. Here's the list of what actually happened when I casted the new Zillion: - Baits flew to hyper-infinity - All my Shimanos melted - Every eyebrow rose - Every panty dropped  I'm sold. Can't wait until mine gets here Looks like I jus...

Re: Megabass P5 Super Destroyer handle ?

I fished mine most of yesterday, alternating between the P5 X Bites pitching baits in brush. No issues with the carbon feeling slick or slippery at all, even with gloves on in the am.

Re: Megabass P5 Super Destroyer handle ?

I have and have had several Edge BW rods with carbon handles, I've never had any issues with any of them. I'm really hoping it'll be the same for the SD.

Did you order an LMX or HMx? Their description at the top is of the HMx, but the options for ordering only show LMX.

Jorrick, while I don’t have specific experience with the MB Tomahawk, might I suggest you consider the Valkyrie line for your intended use? Texted you with similar info.

Jorrick, hit me up. I picked up another Conquest BFS so may let my Conquest 100HG go.

Sorry, tried to delete this post. Should’ve been a PM to Jorrick.

Re: BFS = Dropshot Rods

I use several light powered casting rods, none that are specifically categorized as BFS rods but all work great for DS to me.

Edge BWC DSR 710-1, MB Hein Carbonhead, MB C40 EVO Cliffhanger, MB Northwall Eiger but my favorite is the Edge BW.
