Re: Smith Optics which ones?
They will only lighten and darken a total of 9% its not much. Are these strickley for fishing? If so get the TLT Glass PhotoChromic they are very good lenses. I dont know about the Vt-1 If im going to get a poly lens i would go with Oakley or Native those are my two picks for Poly lens. If i had to ...

Re: TT Reviews of unobtainable tackle
I agree theres no fun in seeing reveiws of stuff thats available down the street. But then there's the obvious products that are missing like the LOOMIS CRANKBAIT ROD SERIES. Probley the best graphite cbait rod out there and it gets kicked aside. Other then that there reviews are very well balanced ...

You have two how many do you really need. Come on illini...you know me well enough to know my fleet of Pixillas has little to do with what I need and more to do with chromatic obsessive disorder. I know, Im not sure whats gotten into me latley :? Re: "Tuned" Spools
But what of the Pixy? I only found 2 of the ZPI CPO 301s and (unless Thor will part with one or two of his) I have several more Pixies than ZPI Spools. I've heard the I'ze Pixy spool isn't all that when it comes to a performance boost. What to do with my Pixillas??? :? You have two how many do you ...

Re: "Tuned" Spools
ZPI had spools for the Pixy, I only found three. They continue to supply spools for other Daiwa reels. Avail had beautiful spools for the Conquest line but I do not see them anymore. Hopefully, we will see more aftermarket items that really can show a performance improvement. Avail still has spools...

Re: "Tuned" Spools
Now beyond the obvious bearing upgrade, which is an aftermarket item, what are manufacturers doing to warrant these claims? Or, do you buy into this idea? Thats a good question IMO, There are two companies that come to mind when i want a performence increase. That would be ZPI and Avail both make t...

Re: oakley polarized or costa del mar
Oakley Polarized lenses are excellent, i like the Polar black iridium. If the glasses are strickly for fishing then yea go with costa's. But IMO for allround use the Oakleys are the way to go. I have the Fives 2.0 i like em alot.
