Erik, i'd love to know more, I've looked at these things for years, especially the power rating!
Keith, how easy would it be to fit to the transom on a jon boat, using the bow mount to steer, this thing just for uumph?

Re: Sorry Zander you blew it!
I think it was a good article, looking at the article as an outline, with ten options available at Bass Pro Shops, I think it was a good mix. Sure you can get boat x or y, and boat z might be better than the rest of them out there, but it's TT, not Consumer Reports!

My guess is they are studio images, using studio lighting, and look weird in the rest of the pic.ThomasW wrote:Are they plastic?
Their skin tone looks completely wrong and unnatural. Looks like a type of blow up doll.

Onboard Charger
When looking at these in the BPS catalog, I see several that say they can handle 12/24/36v systems. I assume that a 3 bank charger can handle only three batteries, regardless of voltage, or if I have both a 12v and 24v system on my boat, will the 2 bank charger be all that I need (2 batteries total)...

Re: So I made a deal and on here and then..........
Hypothetical question. You are selling a very desirable reel with an almost unobtainable aftermarket spool at what you think is a fair price. Almost immediately after posting your ad, multiple buyers are lining up. Several send PMs stating they will out bid anyone for your reel. What do you do? sel...

Re: Boats
I used to have a Johnson 15 that woudl push my boat (14ft. flat bottom) 22MPH, and borrowed a 9.9 last year, it pushed us about 15-16, so I'd say your results should be similar!progressive816 wrote:Lowe 12ft flat bottom. Mercury 9.8hp. 30lb thrust trolling motor. Top speed 10mph?

Re: Jig storage
I have a few of those flipsiders, and I'll try that, but I'm pretty sure the larger stuff won't fit in there either.
Of note, I use the 3600 size, as that's he size built in storage my boat has.

Jig storage
Got the FTO jig box, and like it....except for larger jigs and footballs, would like to see some solutions for what you guys do with the other jigs. For the time being, I just toss them in there with the rest, but it kind of kills the idea of having them sitting there, all lined up for inspection :)...

Re: Gary Yamamoto Senko or Yum Dinger
I've not tested it personally, but a guy with access to a lab over at TU broke one down and analyzed it. It makes sense there is more than salt in there, as with salt alone, nobody has been able to make a stick bait that heavy. Clear glitter adds weight as well, some call it 'sugar', but you still h...

Re: Advice needed on new trebles for old lures
Go to the Rat-L-Trap site and listen to the audio clip they have on baitfish schooling, sounds like a trap, that's where the rattle comes from. I suppose from a bottom bouncing standpoint, it would sound like a craw working it's way over rocks.
