Re: High Speed reel for deep cranking?

I would think that is a perfect reel for the situation. I have the 300 tranx and it’s not nearly as big as I thought it was going to be. I got for chucking some Hudds and defiants but haven’t used it yet.

Re: High Speed reel for deep cranking?

Take one of your high speed reels and give it a shot. Keith combs fishes his deep cranks on a high speed and he is a beast at deep cranking

Re: Valkyrie rods

Great rods I’ve got the 71 and 611mh Yes they are heavy by weight But I don’t really notice it when fishing. Most of it is that metal trim and then the adjustable butt I use them for moving baits Chatters on the 71 and spinnerbait, swimjig on the 611 my Absolutely agree with everything you said. I ...

Re: The Best Swimbait Rod

Any reviews or thoughts on the Megabass TS Destroyers??? I just received the black jack but haven’t fished it or thrown a reel on it yet. I can tell you the fit and finish is absolutely striking. I will give a report when I get a chance to fish it. I have a tranx 301 coming on Thursday so I can giv...

I have a sv103 on mine. Balanced right on the lockdown nut. Sweet rod, very versatile.

Re: How Do they do it?

Sorry about your lost fish, it’s part of the game. As for angles and wind if you think about it, it makes sense. You cast into wind and retrieve with the wind is exactly what happens when the wind pushes the bait in that direction. Old fatty is smart and lazy and waits for bait to come to her.

Yes, you can probably apply to your rods three times with one bottle.

Re: Megabass jota slantbridge

I have the jota, just not slant bridge(wish I did). I use it for topwater 1/4 -3/4. The length and action are perfect for working walkers and poppers and if I didn’t have a rod I use for jerkbaits I would use it for that as well. The slant bridge gives you even more clearance to work baits as well a...

Re: Steez racing design guys

Sounds like the rod I am looking for. I'm not to concerned about the money, I can always make more but I have limited time to fish and want to make the best of it.

Thanks dom. That's exactly what I'm looking for I have found it in the low 800's but that wasn't shipped. 725 shipped is definitely workable. Any place special I should look🙏

Re: Steez racing design guys

I can maybe get that much flouro on it. Worth a try. I have never felt like it was transmitting much when dragging a small jig head. I have never fished a moving bait on the rod. Of the rods I have that I fish bottom contact with, Fmj, javelin, Valkyrie 6’11mh, perfect pitch and Valdivia, all feel w...
