Re: Wrap my T3 with blue scotch tape
Its like when the auto manufacturers wrap the cars in black stuff to disguise them when they are out testing them.

Re: Going to buy a few Lews. Questions
Sorry about that, you are right it is the bb-1 inshore not super duty, the guy I get lews stuff from said it looked just like the super duty but inshore. My bad. No worries. I was actually thinking that maybe you saw that one Super Duty the guy put the blue accent kit on, which looks sexy as hell, ...

Re: What reel would you buy?
I voted for Tatula Type-R. As a long time Shimano user, this reel impresses me every time that I use it. A great and smooth caster, and a very smooth retrieve. Some don't like the size, but it really isn't any bigger than a Zillion.

Re: Going to buy a few Lews. Questions
I have the Super Duty.............As far as performance to the Tatula, there is no comparison. . Super Duty V.S. Tatula R ? Or TP1H V.S. Tat ? I'm asking because I'm ont the fence in regards to purchasing a Tatula type R. I own 5 TP's and held a Tat R, there is a significant weight difference and p...

Re: Going to buy a few Lews. Questions
Regarding the Lews issues with the knobs. I have the Super Duty, and after about a few weeks of use the knobs peeled. Yes, they were replaced for free, and in a very timely manner. As far as that goes, the new replacements are peeling too. Whatever, its only knobs, and I hate the slim knobs anyway. ...

Re: VBS vs SVS
Not for nothing, but cant you just use a little spool tension to fine tune with the VBS? I mean, its almost the same theory. I think its just another "how to catch a fisherman" story.

Re: frogging reel?
I used my 200E7 for 5 years to frog fish. I have just recently retired it to a display queen to honor its duty . I now have a Lews Super Duty mounted on a Dobyns Champion736 with 65# braid. Very impressed with this setup as well. We shall see just how "Super" it really is.

Reel Display Stands?
I see some of you have the stands the baitcasters mount onto to display them. Where do you find these things? I have a CuradoB and CuradoE that I want to retire and put on display. Possibly a few other reels as well.
