Stradic FI handle play *Bantam

I have a stradi FI 2500 and it has considerable handle play. I compared it to my ci4 and my stradic FI 3000 and they feel very solid. The slack I am refering to is when you hold the rotor still and wiggle the handle. I notice it when fishing the 2500 and I do not notice it on my 3000 or my CI4 2500 ...

Drag Question Bantam

Hey Bantam, Do you run your drags dry in the curado? I have been lightly coating them with drag star grease, should I wipe them back down or will it hurt anything?

Thanks!

Chronarch D7 handle same as Curado E7 handle?

Ok, so I am getting ready to do some upgrades (adding bearings) I see that the curado 50 can easily have bearings added under the handle. It uses a regular screw. I have thought of everything on how to get a lh thread nut to add bearings to my curado E7's soooooooo. I was wondering if the chronarch ...

Re: Can I add bearings to the curado knobs

I would sure love to have 8 of them if it were at all possible :(
Are you sure you couldn't distract the guy that puts the knobs on the reels by pulling the fire alarm and swipe a few for me :)

Re: Can I add bearings to the curado knobs

I guess I should add that I'm reffering to the 200 e7's
I know that the 50's will accept one but they use a regular screw to hold the handle on.

Thanks!

also what size are the bearings and how much are they each?

Can I add bearings to the curado knobs

I see that one will fit, but I would have to have a different lock nut to hold the knob on. I see that the one on my calcutta te would work BUT, it has regular threads, the curado's have left hand threads. Do they make the nut I need to hold the handle on that will allow the bearing to be added and ...

So I see that the crucial swimbait rods are on sale...

Are they being phased out and replaced by a split grip version?

Re: Bantam- Crucial rod question ??

Thanks for the input, I would only use it for trolling for stripers once in a blue moon. I guess I will have to find a shop and get my hands on one to know for sure.

Thanks again,
Jeremy
