Re: Monoblock Appreciation Society.
Knobs are held in place with one screw each. You can put whatever you want on. The stock handle is super short and the knobs on my red block are actually Zaion. I don't mind tiny knobs with finesse baits. You feel more though the knobs but that includes the drive train and reels with big squishy kno...

Re: Zillion sv TW 1000
I think a metal silver drag star, proper lock plate and cork puree knobs would look nice.

Re: Zillion TW HD ‘22
I actually have a quandary now, I bought the tw hd and completely forgot that I just bought a z2020, guess they'll just have to go head to head  I would keep both. They are lightyears apart. One is a 38mm wide spool over 9 oz reel and the other is a 34mm narrow spool sub 7 oz reel. If it w...

Re: Megabass Valkyrie Rods
Got the MH rod in. Of the two I have it's the most "normal" the 76XXH has those spiral wraps and that adjustable grip is extreme on the 76XXH going from flipping stick short to big bait stick long. The 76XXH is enormously heavy but floats in your hand. It can actually balance out slightly better tha...

Re: Zillion sv TW 1000
Also in that pic the SS SV engine cover appears to be slid over the existing engine cover. I'm sold my SS SV with the kit but I'm pretty sure the engine cover is a ring rather than a C shaped peice. That pic looks like maybe the SS SV engine cover was cut and slid over the existing one. https://i.ib...

Re: Zillion sv TW 1000
Interesting. That Star Drag must be made in South Korea. I've seen a few models that are not sold anywhere but in Korea. Kinda wish i knew how to remove (if its even removable) the plastic collar that is around the cast control cap on the zillion1000. Would be nice to replace it with the blue'ish o...

Re: Zillion sv TW 1000
Looks awesome. That little simple thing makes this reel look so much more high end and so less Fuego/Tatula grade. The plastic collar that is around the zero adjuster, was it removed or its some kind of a collar from ktf/zpi/hedgehog in silver that you've installed on top? It's not my reel, so I'm ...

Re: Zillion sv TW 1000
Has any of you thought of swapping that fugly plastic engine cover? Trying to figure out which engine cover from another reel would be compatible. Looks like the ss sv slp dress kit plate will work. https://i.postimg.cc/Wp8ySjg9/254951363-981174835834919-3784178470938268037-n.jpg Looks awesome. Tha...

Re: New Poison Adrena
Are these crazy light UFO handle Shimanos morw moderate in taper as a whole? Kinda interested in the 73MH as an all arounder that is a step up in power from my 72M gen 1 Zodias all arounder M+. Would these two be too close in power?

Re: Megabass whipsnake vs St Croix elite 6'10'' ml
I can't say for certain. It has been ages since I fished an elite. A gude had some a number of years back. I had no idea what they were and commented on how they were "cool old fishing rods" and I was scolded and told they were new. I remember how that brown paint catches the sunlight under the epox...

Re: 2021 steez ags rods
These just don't have the X factor for me. The AGS is cool but the whole rod looks rather ordinary. Conservative even. No buttcap. Cork grips. Cork with filler even. No eye popping treatments in the split grip area. Just some paint and black winding checks. Not sold on the weird looking spiral lock...

He's actually asking about the Tatula SV103. Depending on if that means its the old Tatula SV or the new one then either a T33 or T32 spool from these guys gets the job done.
