Paradise is a nice facility. You should also check out Russo's at Bethel Island. They just created a new launch ramp. It's right at Franks's Tract too!

Another good ramp to go to is Orwood's. I usually launch there when fun fishing. Food is good too!

Japanreels- I have both the Berkley and Boga grip. The Berkley lipper tool works fine for the money, especially if you plan to keep the fish you lip with the tool. The big drawback is it doesn't swivel like the Boga. If you plan to release fish, using the Berkley lipping tool will tear flesh off the...

Nah, I'm not a guide. Just a serious fishing addict like everyone else on this message board. I fish some tournaments and have LOTS of friends that are much better anglers than me. I learn a lot from them. Like I said, it spoils you. Sometimes it seems too far just to launch at Big Break or Ladd's. ...

Thanks for the welcome. I moved to Discovery Bay from San Jose almost three years ago. So there's a chance I may already know you... Chasing largemouth bass ranks on top of the list.
