Re: Shimano Curado 200K is available for preorder now
The matte black matches the matte GLX quite well.

Re: First look at Megabass Destroyer USA rods
Any word whether these rods will be continuous or limited production run?

Re: Jackall Chunk Craw
Good action on these lures.
The claws have a wider stance and wider flap rather than a traditional straight flap.
Although they smell like a condom.

Favorite tube
I've been chasing smallies in the Great Lakes here in the north. They seem to prefer a tube over a jig or a craw imitation lure.
Currently using the SK 3.5 coffee tubes. Curious to know what's out there.
As the title states, what's your favorite?
What's the senko of tubes?

I too am not a fan of this line.
It digs into itself pretty bad.

Re: 853c Loomis in GLX or NRX
I went the GLX route due to ergonomics. I wasn't a fan of the recoil guides, split reel seat and handle. Not to mention the locking foregrip that had its issues. The NRX is arguably the most sensitive rod on the market, but it had its flaws with me. The GLX was plenty sensitive and the ergos was qui...

Re: megabass destroyer Daemos
Hi guys, I'm interested in purchasing the Daemos but I'm not sure if its the right rod for the application. I will be pairing this rod up with the shimano core. I will primarily be using this rod for 3/16 oz owner ultra head with a keitech easy shiner or swing impact, t rigs such as 1/8 oz-1/4 with...

Re: megabass destroyer Daemos
Without jacking Antonio's thread can someone tell me what is the closest rod to the Daemos in the destroyer family in regards to taper and power? I think this can help both of us. :) Possibly the X7 Extreme Mission. For the intended purpose of moving bait, the diablo rods are designed for those app...

Re: Spool bearing maintenance
Open shields i would clean them out every second or third outing and oil every second very lightly. ZZ shields i would still oil lightly periodically hpwever there is far less chance of debris getting in them. However atmospheric conditions can help degrade the oil by burning it off with heat if le...

I believe the Steez is the US variant of the Exist.

Re: Daiwa Exist vs. Daiwa Steez 2508/2510
Correction: The Steez EX is all around Zaion.
According to Japan Tackle the 15 Exist is magnesium body w/ Zaion rotor, yet TW state that's it is too full Zaion.
My 15 Exist box just says, "Zaion Air rotor".
My apologies.

Spool bearing maintenance
How often do you add oil to spool bearing?
Besides at the end of a season, do you clean the bearings during the season?
When do you know to replace your bearings?
