Re: metanium mgl and chronarch mgl gear interchangeability

Any solutions to this problem? My chronarch mgl is quite "geary" feeling as well. I love the way the reel fits in my hand but it has a very noticeable feeling and vibration. Even a distinct sound upon retrieval. Does not bother me much if it is the only reel i use that day but when i use another (t...

Re: Daiwa Fuego Ct or Shimano SLX

From my personal experience I love the Tatulas. 5 years hauling in salmon and steelhead with 4 of them and they are still butter smooth. They throw 1/4 oz easily and are nearly impossible to backlash.

Re: Let's see that backlash!

Unfortunately it happens way to often. Wading small rivers with brush lined banks often leads to "hooking up" with something on the back cast. Always good to have 3-5 rods in the car.

Re: Concept C worth the $?

The reel arrived. Looks good except the KOREA on the bottom. The oversize knobs are great! Not co crazy about the cheap looking chrome around them and they both are fairly loose. Took them apart and no bearing at the bottom and does not seem that i can put a shim in there? Spooled it up with 90 yar...

Re: EDGE RODS by Gary Loomis?

Ditto here- Multiple bad experiences with them. When and if you can reach someone they tell you how busy they are and overwhelmed. After a year of hearing this one would think they would have made changes to improve but they have not. Love their rods but i will never deal with them again. Check on f...
