I understand all adjustment are made with the Mag brake. Is it the same concept as a cast control where you gradually increase until your spool doesn't over run?

The only mag seal bearing in baitcasters is the outer pinion bearing. the one under the cast control cap. you can service the reel as normal without affecting it as the magseal is contained in the bearing. If you prefer low profile, I too agree with the Tranx. That price point is hard to beat.
If money and round reels aren't a problem, the Conquest is a solid choice.

Anything with a TWS. The ease of pitching is unmatched.
If you prefer a standard line guide, the aforementioned are solid choices.
The classic Zillion Type R won't disappoint either.

Just tape off the non cork parts (reel seat, blank, etc.) as you would painting anything. Beware not to use too much as it does run a bit.
