Take it apart and clean it, then re lube the washers, lightly sand out any corrosion on the drag washer plates or main gear. While you have it apart you may as well add a carbontex drag to it, probably only about 10-15 bucks

I use mine for spinnerbaits about half the time, depends on if I want to go slow or fast. It works fine, I am using 12 lb line. The other half I use the 200 or my calcutta te 100gt

Don't forget the shimano crucial Not sure the lure rating tho-

OK, just looked at schematics, is it the record 60 spool that fits the 5500??

Will the record spool fit right in? I had thought of that but for some reason I was thinking the spool had a bearing fitted to it on the record. I'll look into it. Do you know how much one would cost me?

What parts does it take to put the cruado e7 200 drag star on the curado 50? Is it just the star and the nut or do I need the spring as well? Any issues when it's installed? Same drag pressure and all?
