Re: Anyone dump SPINNING all together??

you do much drop shotting? i wonder how it would work with baitcasting. I dumped spinning twice. Four years ago I sold all my spinning gear. If I was not going to use it what was the point of keeping it. Then, last year I purchased a spinning combo Shimano CI4 with Loomis Mossy Back BSR852 senko rod...

Re: Help me understand the value of 8.0 or 8.1 gears

To get fish out of cover faster and be able to pitch quicker?

But it gets to a point that it's just marketing. I've seen some reels rated at 7.9-8.1 that has the same ipt as 7.1-7.3.... :-k

I've been using them for 4 years and have never had a problem with guides.
Even if you do have an issue which is unlikely, you are covered 100% by an awesome warranty.
THANKS FOR THE INFO....

Re: Phenix M1 7'2" light spinning rod

I ordered the 7'2" M for worms and tubes. Should also be great for shakey heads. For Light action might be more suited for drop shotting, very soft tip.
