years ago, i ask jun @ japantackle to source me some mb ito knob screws. they were $25 each with a 4 week lead-time. not sure who was crazier, mb selling them so expensive or me buying them

i have a few ktf aldebarans that i bought the ixa/ktf parts separate...each reel in total cost me approximately $800 (reel+parts+tax/shipping costs), not sure if the already ktf customized reel were cheaper at the time, but each order I got a ktf sticker

Is it still possible to order those rods? I need one for my Racing Viola. Since I already have one with the shiny carbon think I'll go with the matte carbon if still available. I believe they are no longer in production and when I purchased from megabass it wasn't customizable like the standard sup...

for me it was a mb ito speciale pole position, unfortunately at the time i was bidding on a monoblock racing viola and matching arms rod. the search goes on.

had similar happen to a mb xx sbs and a lipless cb years ago (the sound it made! without looking i though the rod snapped). i couldn't find a single mark on blank under magnification, luckily since then it hasn't shown any signs of concern. that is one tough wrap on the gen 1 xx.
