Re: TackleTour Exclusive: On the Water with the New G.Loomis Conquest Rod Series
Thanks for the quick review. A lot of things to like, especially our guides and full cork handle. They come at steep price. I'll be waiting for the TT longer term reviews.

A reel labeled Steez shouldn't have bushings, blasphemy. Appreciate the pre review Cal.

Re: America's Best Selling Reel?
Enjoyed reading this review. The process of learning to cast was very similar to my 6 year old grandson. I have about a dozen of the 33 combos at the dock for visitors to bream fish. Have had guite a few guest catch decent bass on them fishing Pop R's. They cast 1/4 oz. Pop R's quite well.

I use Armilo and Shooter and like both a lot. Only using Fluoro for deep cranks and bottom contact. Great review on both.

Re: Shimano Re-Ignites Their Shining Star : The 2015 Aldebar
Looks like you really like the Aldebaran, solid review on solid reel. My view on the Alpha would be very similar. Shimano reel hit home runs with the Aldebaran and Metaniums.

Re: Evergreen International's Pencil Popper - the Shower Blo
Thanks for the review Cal, I have been thinking about these baits for several years. I picked up a couple this winter and needed a little advise on how to work them.

Interesting Bantam1, thanks for postingBantam1 wrote:I just wanted to let everyone know why there are feathers on the hooks. The feathers help to float the hooks a little more. This aids the angler when fishing over shallow structure like submerged brush.

Enjoyed the review especially comments on the bottom tie. Did you have any experience with the carp or gizzard shad?

Re: Syncing Up with the Original : Bill Lewis's Rat-L-Trap
I have an 3700 box crammed full of 30 year old Rat-L-Traps, best lipless baits on Guntersville for me. Love the chrome blue.

Re: Daiwa Japan's SS SV : A Steez in Disguise?
Enjoyed the review, does this mean if I want Steez SV like my older Steez, I have to buy JDM or just buy SV spools? Both the Steez (original and EX) and the SS share the same spool along with the TD-Z (except 100M and Fuego). My question was worded badly. Let's try this: Is the new USDM Steez a EX ...
