I use it fishing inshore and it competes favorably to Andes premium mono and PL in the 11 to 15# class. A lot less stretch silky smooth and excellent knot strength. My new favorite.

No rubberized as you call it work great. I've been told they'd are less stress on the fish and hooks don't get caught in them .

Orange seals if want the best performance use them open and if your worried about debris use them closed.

Check out the maintenance section if you haven't already adding carbon drag washers should smoothen out your drag, especially if you polish and level the drag stack, if done properly you might get an extra lb of drag but the smoothness is most important if you ask me. Diluted Simply Green 50/50 should do the trick, if needed you can go full strength for any stubborn grease. An Ultra sonic would help also.

Daiwa 103L SW is a 100 sized saltwater round reel that’s perfect or find a Blue Bay Casting Special, either will work. I have e_bassfisher (Ian) supertune them especially for saltwater. Seriously cheap Chinese made bearings being sold from a Russian web site, why shouldn’t they be good quality abec7’s, hahaha!
