Looks like I'll be selling some tackle.

I need a new reel like I need a hole in my head. BUT, the monkey has me drooling over two reels-- the Steez LTD SV 103H-TN and the LTD SV 105XH. I can't sleep at night. Those of you who have fished with one or both of them, what do you think?

Just called TW, and the salesguy there said he could match the $499.99 but not the $449.99.

I wonder if TW would match the $450 price? The reels are listed at $499 at TW this morning.

I have used both for more than 50 years. I am much more proficient with spinning tackle, but it's getting harder and harder for me to hold a spinning rod/reel for any extended period of time. My hands cramp terribly after a while. But so many of the types of fishing that I enjoy--bouncing small jigs...

Maybe I'm old old-fashioned, but I enjoy the mystery of what might lie beneath the surface of a lake or river. I enjoy uncovering that mystery slowly, one cast at a time. But then, I don't fish tournaments

What are the differences between the JDM 14 Conquest and the Conquest that will soon be available in the U.S.?

Enjoyed reading your review of the Ultimate 12 several months ago. Have you paddled the new 12 FX? If so, would you care to comment on it? I'm very much interested in how the two versions compare with each other.

If Daiwa discontinues the current Steez line this summer, what do you think will be the "buy now" price when stores start discounting? $450? $420?
