Re: Tatula Signature Series
They dropped the 2023 updates today https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLLd3xpQDsB0axsPwm5Q_7aeUELAnU1mfq I seen those rods months ago when I asked my local rep to confirm them. He did say he wasn't sure if they were coming out before or at the classic. Now we know. I look forward to the new ree...

Re: Daiwa Deep Crankbait Reel Options
I now have 4 Tatula 150 5.5 and an OG Tatula 5.4 for crankbaits and a Steez A 5.3 The with doesn't bother me at all. When the Elites come to fish the Sabine River this year our local tackle shop is having Daiwa Day and I will pick me up another one or the new zillion 6.3 Hell it's only money! 😁 Jeff

Re: 2021 steez ags rods
I had a USDM Steez 7'1" pitchin'/jig rod about 20 years ago or so. I was not impressed based upon my experience. I had a couple of JDM TD Battler JDM AND 2 JDM Steez rods about the same time frame as the USDM and liked them a lot. It could be because the JDM models were moving bait rods and the USD...

Re: Bottom Contact Rod!
I use my Steez bottom contact rod and my Steez utility player for those applications
I really like the utility football heads and big jigs up to 3/4 oz then the bottom contact rod for heavier lures

Re: Daiwa spinning reels
Someone explain to me how a free floating spool works on a spinning reel. Daiwa says their Kage MQ LT has a free floating spool. Maybe I missed something Jeff The spool is supported on bearings, not on shims. They have kits for already. Both of my Certates are free-floating. I guess I did miss that...

Re: Do you plan on buying the iPhone of reels aka the Z Limitbreaker?
The reel looks awesome but I would never have the need for one unless it was down sized to a Steez size and dropped in price by $400

ISO Daiwa Certate 2500
My anti reverse clutch is toast
Looking for a parts reel or the assembly for it. It's an original 2500 Certate. Not sure of the parts numbers

Re: What do you want to see from Daiwa?
I like the idea of a Millionaire or Ryoga reintroduction. Maybe give the Millionaire a 32mm G1 SV spool, and make the Ryoga for bigger stuff, like a Mag-Z Boost or something. After buying a Conquest and Millionaire recently, I really enjoy round reels, they just feel right. The T-wing doesn't bothe...

Re: Steez A II Tws
Disappointed that it doesn't come in 5.3 this time around. Jeff My thoughts exactly. Yup. Maybe it's compatible with the 5.3 gears ,😁 they haven't changed the frame so the old gear will fit but hard to get hold of as daiwa japan will not sell gears for magseal reels. an alternative gear set is the ...

Re: bailess spinning reel
Back in the 90s I knew a few guys that did this just to keep line twist from happening.
I believe there were a few pros who did that to also. Never tried it myself

Re: Back in Love again
For me it's my 1983 Daiwa Prolite 100. This reel keeps on going and going! You can't tear it up. And that's why I buy every decent one I can find. I collect them now and bout one brand new in box never used paid a little bit more than I should have but not many of them out there in that condition. I...
