Re: Broken hook on treble
Most of the time on the smaller MB baits i always replace the hooks with owner trebles. I think their hooks are stick sharp but can bend out easily on a bigger fish. Just gives me a more sound mind and more confidence when fishing

Re: Basic Rod + Braid > High end rod + fluro
If your looking for line for those Jigs stick with a flouro or braid to flouro leader. My favorite is Toray Bawo Exthread. Never had this line break on me once. The memory is little to nothing. Can be a little pain to find though...

My favorite is always the Decoy HeavyCover flipping hooks. Never had one bend out on me horsing fish out of thick cover. Not that hard to find either online.

Re: 16 Aldebaran bfs owners: Question for ya
With mine i have had problems going under 6# flouro. I usually stick with Toray Bawo Exthread at 6 or 8#. Never had any problems with those two. The line is super smooth and is my favorite for finesse reels.

Help for fishing smallies up north?
Good morning TT just wondering what are some of the best baits for very very cold water smallmouth. The water is around 30 degrees. Anything would be a great help and appreciated

Re: Any disadvantages to O rings?
The only disadvantage they have is if you get them too small. If so they will start to saw throughout your whole bait and will defeat the purpose of even having them.

Re: Braid/Fluro Leader Question
When fishing around structure i love to use a 30lb Smackdown braid to a Toray Bawo Exthread 16# leader. I have never had this combo break on me one time.
