It's all about the American dream baby! More and better that!! Europeans in your little tiny countries and little tiny cars and your little tiny tummies will never understand.

Re: Tatulas first fish to finish the year.
I'm right there with you.... so far I have a 6:3, 7:1, 6:3TR and soon a 5:3. I REALLY REALLY hope megabass does a Tatula rendition in 2014! I am building up my tatula collection very slowly but I will probably have 4-5 withing 2 years. If megabass made a tatula version that would just be awesome. =...

Re: Thoughts on Microguides
I love them!!! They are perfect for spiral wrapping. Only rods I build any more with regular guide are swimbait rods and flippin rods. I build all of my owe rods with American Tackle's Ring Lock Mircos with Nanolite rings. Never seen one break, twist or bend out of shape in any way. I'll never go ba...

Re: Best or your favorite line for jerk/rip baits?
16 lbs Sniper for me holy moley, 16lb flouro! Doesn't that completely kill the action? I remember in one of the tackle tour reviews(one of the visions I think), they show video of jerkbait underwater with diff pound tests. Even the 10lb test killed a bunch of the action from the 6lb test(or was it ...

Re: what's your favorite casting rod for fishing blade baits
I built myself a 6'6" med fast on a Northfork Comp SM blank last year or throwing bladebaits. Put a Steez 103HA with a hyperlong cast spool in it. It blade fishing magic, pure magic. I can feel the lightest walleye bites in 60 feet of water with it.

Devcon 2 ton or propaste is what you want, not flex coat.

Re: spiral wrapped micro guide help
One double 8 then two single foot 6's then 4's the rest of the way for me. Most of the spiral is done by the first 4. I'll never go back to a normal wrap again.

Re: Smak 100H
Same brakes as the Red Tuned Smak, I had some trouble with it at first but I'm doing great with it now.
Love the Hedgehog handle, nicely built and finished. For the price I'd say it's the best on the market.

Smak 100H
Picked this beauty up a couple of weeks ago for less than two hundred bucks. Got to say I'm super impressed with it. Really like the looks of it, maybe I'm crazy. Great caster, super smooth, light and the twitching bar on this one is a lot better than the Viento. Added a couple upgrades: Hedgehog AI...
