So… who else is having that recoil guide tip replaced as soon as they receive the rod? Lol.

I’m just gonna pick up a titanium sic guide or something, idk yet, but I’m not dealing with braid or leader knots with that recoil tip.
If you are getting rid of your recoils
I know a guy 😊

](*,)
How can one resist

I saw that there are two handle lengths for these rods
But correct me if I’m wrong that’s the only differences?
I may have to go back and re read the article

Anyone find the pre-order spot on the site yet? Either I'm too stupid to find it, or they aren't up yet when they said pre-ordering would start 8/5
You are not alone

Re: Rat Rumble : 2 Faced Baits's Waking Rat

Seems like a lot of competition in this rat race. I don’t use them but I read the write ups and i think I’ll give it a shot

Re: Power Tackle's "The One" for Big Baits : 4.5XXH

This sounds like an interesting rod.
I went to the website and it was as described in terms of labeling.
Still it sounds like something I would try

Re: Now This Stick Is Legit : The Wild Side WSC72H+

While I dont have the stick you reviewed reading that it will make a good swim bait stick is something to consider because that would mean that it would be a ultra good swim jig rod? Not sure about "ultra-good" but the WSC72H+ but I can't think of a reason why the WSC72H+ couldn't perform...

Re: Now This Stick Is Legit : The Wild Side WSC72H+

Good Morning, What a great read this morning. I always amazed at how you guys write so detailed on every piece of gear you test. I had considered this stick as my first LD purchase but opted instead for the 6'10" which I like very much. As you mentioned the backbone on these rods is the real de...

Re: Return of the Enthusiasm : Shimano Japan's Calcutta Conquest DC

I ended up after many trails with 30lb powerpro V2 Shimano poison Adrena 7’2” heavy for yammy and zoom fluke style baits I only had several good bites with this cold front but the wind was howling and the strength of the reel and sensitivity of the rod has led me to believe this is probably the best...

Re: The Thoroughly Capable, If Somewhat Uninspiring New Alphas

Daiwa is definitely moving past shimano or is it shimano is falling behind Subjective :but I’d say I would agree to disagree. I think that in the round reel arena Shimano has zero competition. I’m just talking normal braking system casting reels. I get that the new alpha and zillion are a hit and h...

Re: Return of the Enthusiasm : Shimano Japan's Calcutta Conquest DC

Took the plunge for the very first time. Just received the reel and the only thing I had available was a super rakkai and with some floro clear practice line I’ve made several cast in the pond. I didn’t buy this for any specific purpose but I kinda like it on the SR. Cast are accurate and it’s a goo...

Re: Return of the Enthusiasm : Shimano Japan's Calcutta Conquest DC

Man what a write up! After getting my second conquest 100hg I didn’t think I had a need for anything else and then this write up perks my interest by a lot. I’m glad to see that it comes in two different gear ratios. The 6.8:1 is just something I crank and s/b with as well as weightless plastics. Lo...
