Re: Min Kota or Motor Guide?
Just picked up a Minn-Kota 70lb thrust for my 16 foot flat... been running that thing for a month now with out charging the two 12v's. Anyway, never used a MotorG, but would assume that in this day of technology both motors are good. For me, I just like the looks and foot control of the Minn-Kota, j...

Pflueger - Patriarch
Was wondering if anyone else besides myself thought this thing was a stunner looking reel, or is it just me I'm thinking for 2 bills this will be a pretty good reel, and I would not mind seeing this thing on the TT block of tests in the future

Re: Fluro on Spinning Gear?
P-Line CX is a dandy of a line and I use it for my smaller baits, drop-shotting, split-shotting, shaky-head and etc. However, I do use PP too on Old Man Miss all the time with out problem. I will use a Seaguar leader (but not all the time) for various applications anywhere from 12" to 24" leader. An...

Re: Owner Phantom Tube Hook
Just an update on this hook product... I have been successful so far by just shoving the weight portion of this set up into the top of the tube and have found that I don't need to re-tie if I don't want to. Anyhoot, I suppose I'm saying if you just shove the weight into the top of the tube you're go...

Re: New Rod/Update
sometimes (if not all) spinning guides will have the full "Fuji" stamped on them... I've not seen the casting/stripper guides, fly guides with this on them (but I'm young ( ... not age) at building so I've not seen it all so to speak) as of date. The only thing I've seen stamped is the mm size...

Yep, have to go with the old PST from Leatherman. I don't know if you can still get them, but I have the one with the "hook" file groove... nice to have on the water.

I also liken to close my bail by hand... then as the bail is closed I tug on the line to cinch it up a bit for the retrieve, just me mind you.

Game... U will not be disapointed with the LE. It is the finest stix I've used to date (have not used any JDM stuff so I can't comment there) IMHO.
