Re: LETS SEE YOUR CUSTOM PAINTED REELS
Picked this up in the classifieds. Thinking about dropping an SS SV spool into it and mounting it to a custom rod as a dedicated Close Quarters Combat skipping and pitching combo. https://s27.postimg.org/8uljezamb/2nm20t3.jpg https://s30.postimg.org/ho2akpuxt/2vdpch1.jpg https://s29.postimg.org/hvy...

Re: Zero adjuster
Does this mainly apply to SV spool equipped reels? How about regular Magforce Z reels? I have my EX100XS adjusted the same way. I adjust the spool tension knob until there is no play then back off one click. Then I turn the Magforce Z cast control up a minimal amount (around 6 on the dial). After t...

I can skim a 1/2oz or 3/8oz Keitech Model 1 very well on my NRX 853C. 15lb InvizX. You should give the Model 3 Swim Jig /4.8 FAT a try. Holy Hell! You might just skip it accidentally. I can put that bait anywhere. ZLN100HL-TWS/TAT721MHRB-G/40# J-Braid The Model 3 is one of my favorite swi...

Re: Zero adjuster
I also adjust my reels with the cast control backed off one notch from zero side play out of the box and then use the (other) main braking system to adjust from there. I can usually have a reel adjusted well in a few seconds or minutes because of this. Once in a while I may knock or bump the spool ...

Re: Stella FI
Picked up a Stella FI 3000 to mount on a 13 Fishing Archangel Rod. Surprised there was no extra spool considering the price. Regardless I need an extra spool...considering buying another spool. Anyone know if there are any Yumeya spools for this reel? Would appreciate any opinions on what I should ...

Re: steez replacement spools
I'd pick up a deep SV1000 spool for the 100H and an SV105 for the 103H. I have an SV105 in a 103H and I love it for lighter stuff, I have 20# braid on it (with whatever leader I'm using that day) and that gives me tons of capacity. I'm in the process of trying to source a deeper SV spool right now ...

My newest addition. Picked up another one in 6.3 before they're gone forever. Re: Fluke rod
I love using Crank baits, Jerk baits, Jigs, Worms, top water plugs and hollow body Frogs as the staples of my tackle bag but I have thrown weightless Zoom Super Flukes successfully more than any other bait. I have had great success throwing them on a St. Croix LTB 6'8" MF Jerkbait rod with a Steez S...

That is useful information to know. Thanks for sharing this.Cracker wrote:You can find out where the reel made by looking at UPC code on a box.
If it made in Japan the UPC code would start from 84.

Wow that is so awesome. Nice to see he won in my home state of FL too. One of the few pros along with Bill Dance that I remember from my childhood. Hope I can still slay them when I am 70 and way beyond!

Dude, that's a DOPE combo! I love the MB Oracle Dragon logo. Almost looks unfishable (its too nice) Lol. You're gonna look good out on the water with that. And let the first fish be a 12lb plus on your combo :P BTW: Thanks for the compliment on my mad rod packing skillz. There's nothing sadder than...
