Osprey Tackle company uses Gami hooks. I have not tried their baits but I do know the use the Gami hook.
Most use the Mustad hook which happens to be a really good hook.

Re: Best Bottom Contact Rod From Daiwa nonjdm
I have the 7'1"H in both AGS and standard Steez. The AGS is a little lighter and a more sensitive but even the regular Steez I use for bottom contact baits with plenty of feel. My next order is the Steez MH along with the 7'6"ML AGS in the spinning.

Re: Rod and reel storage in between trips
When I get home I take my reels off put them in reel covers and they get put in a drawer. I do this every trip. My combos do not stay together unless I have one I use to fish a local pond.

I believe it is the same as the Signature 7'4" designed for chatterbaits.

Re: 7'3" MH Tatula Elite vs. 7'3" MH Cronos
These two rods are pretty much identical. I have 3 of Cronos and love them. I handled to the Tat it felt pretty close to the Cronos so I decided not to buy it. If you want a little stiffer then you might want to look at the 7'3"H Tak designed. It is a little stiffer and has more backbone. What do pl...

The only knot I use is the RP knot. I have tried others but always go back to the RP knot.

Re: Daiwa Cronos 7'6" F vs. XF?
I have handled the AGS rod and it seems a little stiffer in the tip as the Cronos do. It does seem lighter because the AGS guides. I might get when just to try but not sure it will be much better then the Cronos for the extra money.

Glad your happy with them.
I think they are some of the most under rated rods out there.

Re: Z man Zinkerz not floating ?
BlaineFred, As posted before the Zinkerz sink because of the salt content. You can stretch them out and soak them to get some of the salt out. The best thing to do is get the TRD line of baits which have a lot less salt in them. The majority of TRD baits float but on occasion they will sink so you c...

Re: Daiwa Cronos 7'6" F vs. XF?
I use the XF for ned rigs and drops shotting. I love the XF for light ned rigs in deep water. I will fish a 1/10 down to 30 feet with now problem. The F I use for just about everything.

Re: Daiwa Cronos 7'6" F vs. XF?
I have both and love them. I use them from everything to ned rig, drop shot, hair jigs, neko and small jerkbaits and topwaters.
I have paired with Ballistics EX's. Waiting for the Ballistic LT to come out .
