Re: Looking for a quality snap.
The 25 are smaller than you think. What has been written is true. More reliable because they can't open and easier to use because you don't have to open them. It's a win/win. Snaps are outdated technology. I figure only reason these aren't more popular here is because they are not JDM which means no...

Re: This is a first for me
Yeah you definitely want a key locked hitch. But be warned, even THAT is no guarantee unattended. I've personally never 'lost' one but have a buddy who did. Someone actually picked the key lock, pulled the hitch, and then in the worlds utmost dramatic act of defiance went so far as to reinserted the...

Re: T3 Mago drag
I was playing around with different spools in my t3 mago and realized that even with the drag star backed off all the way the drag doesn't give at all. Is that normal on the t3 mago? Thanks Yes, it is. T3 Mago is near 4 pound at low setting. Odds are nothing wrong, probably just more burly than you...

You been eyeballing this since September? I'd say at this point you need to either buy it or forever regret not doing so. Opinions matter little anyway. Form your own conclusions and you tell us instead.

Re: Opinion: It may not be worth it
It’s worth it. I dealt with the same conundrum years back and I agree it’s hard to justify when money is tight. But this can be said of all expense. Yes, you can ding a reel. But you can ding a car door too. Or stain that extra nice shirt you bought. And just how good was that steak you spent 50 buc...

Re: Spool Overfilled? and Topshot Floro Issues
Let the spool tell you. Judging by photo I’d say you’re filled better than maximum. But you’ll know for certain soon enough, mount it, string it up, open the bail. What jumps off the spool is the amount the spool doesn’t want.
