Re: Using Loops on Jerkbaits -- when necessary??
The last time I used a loop I lost a lure tying it wrong lol. But other than that I never use loops always just rings or snaps.

Little johns and fat johns is a must add with square bills. They are my most productive cranks I own.

Mend it works really well I've been using it for years on yamma senkos since they rip so easily.

Re: Kietech 4" Swing Impact
I use them with regular swim heads, but like someone said a real light finesse head or just weightless works wonders on spooked fish. Just cast it out and let it drop with twitches and it gets them to bite.

Re: What's your favorite bed fishing bait/tactic?
White rattle jig w/ white beaver, just drag it until the fish makes a move on it. If it doesn't work then hopping sometime causes them to react and dive towards the bait.

Re: Rod weight question
Never really done it, but wouldn't what you're asking just be like, if I put a steez on a NRX and put a calais dc on the same NRX will the sensitivity be the same? I don't know if adding weights to the butt will make it less sensitive, but adding different weighted reels doesn't seem to change the r...

Re: rod action Preference? S/B Specific
I have used my 853c NRX for smaller spinnerbaits at a local pond and that day I caught roughly 15 or so fish and I believe I didn't lose one. It has an ex-fast tip, but worked really well, I was surprised. Ever since that day, sometimes I'll rig up a spinnerbait on that rod when the time presents it...

Re: Which Shimano reels are...
If you like the curado 50's, basically all the other 50 models are upgrades. I've owned the older Ch50mg, and a buddy had the Aldebaran, they were both great reels.

I swapped out my bearings on my steezs when I got them to boca's and haven't had any issues.

I'm always pitching, never got the hang of flipping either.
