I use my 852c for finesse jigs for smallies in open water. Between the 853 and 854, the 853 for sure. I don't own either, but do have the 893 which is supposedly more powerful than the 853.

Do you guys know if this rod is actually 6'4" because the one I got is more like 6'.

Put my new zpi m spool in my og steez with 10lb sniper. I had to turn the brakes up to 8 to get any real control. I liked it better in my t3 mx. I'm going to give it try in tdz.
