Just got mine yesterday from jpangler, reel feels smooth actually to me slightly more then my metaium13s. I have a tournament next weekend I'll report back then !

Was looking at the spinning 6'10 model for drop shoting but 1/16 to 3/8 might be to light. I usually use 1/4 to 3/8 oz weights plus baits might be to much for that Rod and most of the time I'm around grass
