Re: Shimano Scorpion 70 XG
How does the 70 size compare to a regular curado I? Can you put some in hand pictures up? I want a super small reel for palming when I'm fishing topwater but it's hard to find any kind of definitive exterior measurements on reels. It's a little smaller than the curado. But its more comfortable for ...

Re: need help picking sunglasses
I have a pair of Fantail Costas with the 580 glass lens, green mirror. They are fantastic for BRIGHT sunny conditions. The 580 lens are super clear. That being said, I tried a pair of Smith Colsons with the Chromapop Polarchromic Ignitor lenses. I love these sunglasses! They adjust for varying light...

Re: Rainshadow Eternity builds?
Thanks for the info and advice. Sorry for the delayed response, I was out of the country. I am intrigued by the Rainshadow and might have to give it a try, just to have one of each. I have been more than satisfied with my Point Blank and their customer service is outstanding. If I do try a Rainshado...

Rainshadow Eternity builds?
Has anyone built a rod on the new Rainshadow Eternity blanks? I am considering their ETEC 72 MH-SS for a 1/2 ounce and heavier jig rod and big topwater walkers. I also am considering a similar Point Blank rod or possibly a Phenix K2. Any opinions?

Re: Saltwater Lipless Twitch Baits for Bass?
Those lures work great for bass. I use them all the time in my farm ponds as they match the profile of a bream better than stick baits. It seems like the fish don't know they are for saltwater!

I don't think so, but I haven't tried all that many. Tagged to see what more experienced anglers have to say.

Re: Blank recommendation
I have a Point Blank PB691 MXF. I use it for 1/8 to 3/8 jigheads and texas rigs. Super light, and super sensitive. The action might be a hair faster than what you want, but I have really been impressed with mine. Is that the rod you're using in the YouTube video you posted? Looks like your bank fis...

I couldn't find out much about them, so if figured I would give them a shot and be the guinea pig. I'm glad I did!Hogsticker2 wrote:Just out of curiosity with so many blank options available, what led you to choose Point Blank? Builders suggestion, or something else?

Re: Point Blank Rod Review
NIce review! =D> Can you comment on other blanks you have built on before or perhaps a few other rods you have fished with and compare them to this Point Blank build? I don't really have that much experience with other fishing rods. I have mainly fished a Duckett Micro Magic and a couple of Kistler...
