Re: 13 Fishing reels????

I don't think its fair to make statements that they won't compare or can't compete. Things like the braking system can't possibly be as good as VBS or any worse than Okuma. Re: Molix rod ?

Designed in Italy with Japanese technology? And an ACS reel seat. Think I will pass, especially when I can get a new Helium 3 now available at TW for roughly the same price

Re: Molix rod ?

Re: 13 Fishing reels????

I doubt the the spools in the red and black reels will be the same. I'm willing to fork out 170 bucks to try something new and let someone else be test the waters on the more expensive reels

Re: 13 Fishing reels????

As a lefty, I'm gonna be pissed if I have to wait until 2015 to obtain one. All of these reels look amazing. If they perform as nice I'm gonna be chomping at the bit.

Re: Tatula options.

Anybody doing anything other than red? I'm sorry, but that drag star on the standard version has to go. It looks worse than the cheap plastic stars on the CH 50s. I think you can purchase those for like 5 bucks from the trap the cheapest is probably the zillion star for $20. Well worth it. Will mak...

Re: Where are the shimanos?

Slap a semper fi 90mm swept handle on it and it will be all good Eh.. Semper Fi designs do nothing for me. Its gonna be another detonator. Now I just need to figure out a rod for it. Out of the box I slung a 3\8 oz plug 135ft on a 6'6 rod which is far for me :-) Basszone has some new gold colored a...

Re: Will TT's review of the Tatula Type R sway you?

I'm not getting either due to the larger size frame, but if I were, I'd get the Type R as I think the paint job looks 50 dollars better.
