Whats your thoughts on guides used and guides placed, meaning the amount of guides per rod. Lets say you have a 7" rod with 10 guides vs a 7" rod with 15 guides (just a example) Now I might be wrong here but adding to many guides to a rod will cause a rod to become slugish and weight more then neces...

How many guides does this rod have?

I tried to search and can not find a listing anywere.

To much fraying here also, I thought it was one of my guides causing it at first.
I checked all my guides and they are perfect...


Ended up going with sufix and pline braid.

Got it figured out LOL.

Can some one tell me how much line the 2500 F5 spool holds?

First time I have heard anything bad like this with the vanquish and my google fu is strong...

I have the vanquish c3000hg and at first it was not to smooth, after adding a drop of oil and adding line I noticed just how smooth the reel is, it seems like its SUPER smooth when there is a little line tension. My stradic is loader then my vanquish, I haven't noticed any rotor noise of any kind......
