Re: Light weight reel for topwater and jerkbaits...???
Look on Digitaka and see which JDM Daiwa reel will suit your needs. The prices are so great right now, it is cheaper to go JDM and prices are TYD. It is quite fast as well 3-4 business days usually. An Alphas finesse custom may be a good choice ($261.00 USD) and if capacity is an issue there are man...

I also built on this blank. I absolutely love it. It is a beast. Very sensitive and light, given its power and length.

Angler Innovations is another great option with neoprene, also has reel cover attached.

Re: Rod Action - Jig & Worm
I also prefer fast of mod-fast. Extra-fast will usually not load quite as well when setting the hook on jigs in particular or in casting accuracy. You also have to keep in mind that just because the manufacturer says it is extra-fast does not mean that that is the case. This can apply to both factor...

Very good to deal with. Product was an NRX 873 green and it was beautiful. I wouldn't hesitate to do business with Warren again.

Re: My Metanium MG TUNED
Very good looking Metanium, definitely an improvement over the original. Do the right handed gears work with the left handed models, or that's a no no.... I can't tell, because all the casting reels I've handled are left handed, and never had this issue, but see than only the Chronarch 100D5, has th...

Re: Punching Reel
It is going to be hard to find a new robust reel for that price. A second gen. STX may be a good option. I would try and find a gently used Zillion for that application or a good price on a new one. The $175.00 really limits your options for a heavy duty technique like punching.

Re: Goodbye Shimanoloomis hello Gary North fork loomIs?
I I'm in no way a Kistler fanboy. I know there's been lots of people burned by Kistler over the years. I'd also like to think that was with lesser rods than the Z Bones. The sad truth is there's a lot of trial and error and growing pains for rod companies and maybe Kistler is just finding their stri...

I used Digitaka and shipped by EMS. Their prices are good and they change as the Yen does. Which at the moment is a good thing for us. I just could not believe how fast it was.

Only 3 business days from Japan, now thats fast!!
I was shocked to see the reels I ordered Monday night here in Michigan already. That is faster than any vender in the U.S. that I have ever done business with. The Z2020H is one bad muthafatha! 8-) I put the Z2020H on my custom NFC 809 and pitched a 3/8oz tungsten weight around the back yard for a w...
