Finding parts and info is quite difficult the reel is sweet thou has a mechanical brake so the lure does not drop to fast.

I had a shimano stradic mgfb 3000 and the spool was interchangable with my stradic Ci4 3000 I liked the Ci4 much more and sold the mgfb It was mint 10/10 with two spools box and bag got like $150 last year on ebay.

Alternatively if you wish to use it for finesse fishing you could get a avail spool + mag brakes, I believe the spool size is the sake as the metanium (unconfirmed) It should be an awesome reel once all is said and done. Also when the bass hit the bobbers go down and side ways super fast its seems they come in in schools and are really competing for the bait there is no way its the wind or bait taking them down like this its really a site to see I think I have a great plan this year and I will update with my success...
