I dunno. smaller, lighter, faster, stronger...these traits may or may not always translate to "better" but, they do translate to "improved" and "improved" is just one more way of gaining market share. as I've stated before...this is how we wind up with '58 chevy's after we've tasted the 57's. I dunno.

smaller, lighter, faster, stronger...these traits may or may not always translate to "better" but, they do translate to "improved" and "improved" is just one more way of gaining market share.

as I've stated before...this is how we wind up with '58 chevy's after we've tasted the 57's.

have fished most of my plastics with a mhxf (bcr803 glx) since that rod came out.

the 5:1 200 e was a great little reel for deep cranks and blades but the 7:1 200 e, in my hands, was nowhere near as smooth.

in my hands, the older mg50 was a tad better caster with 1/8 oz. beetle spins, rooster tails and such.


when you get to 1/4 oz., there is little difference.

one of my older, smaller lakes has a bluegill base for bass forage...there are no shad in the lake.



shad lures still out produce bluegill patterns there.
