Re: Congrats to all who bought the E series curado cheap

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought I read that the Caenan had a non-bearing supported (pre "super-free" design) pinion gear. I would have a hard time believing that Shimano would regress to the 200-B level of sophistication for the new Curado.

Re: What Color Megabass 110 Clear H2O

The bass are starting to spawn on Table Rock right now. Some have already spawned. Pro Blue, Pro Green & Elegy Bone in the clearer water. Stardust Shad & Table Rock Special (it's no mere coincidence) in the more stained arms. Do not rule out the bigger Magnum 110. Cosmic Back has been very popular a...

Re: plastic swim baits

I primarily use solid body swimbaits, Optimum Double Diamonds amd LFT Majic Shads. On both, I use either the Owner Beast or Gamakatsu (can't remember what they call their springlock swimbait hook). 4/0 for baits up to 5" and 6/0 for baits up to 6". Because of the shape of their weights, the Owner ha...

Re: Rapala Shad Rap

In Missouri the shad rap and wiggle wart have won a ton of money in late winter through late spring tournaments. In my club, one of our members throws a #7 'rap all year long and always picks up a keeper or two on it.

Re: Identify these Rapala Crankbaits

They are good crankbaits, like everything else they have a time and place. Despite the appearance of the bill they have a gradual diving curve. I like these on slow tapering points / flats. The smallest ones (can't remember the RR #) are great little stream cranks.

Re: Chronarch 101A question

I believe the bearings on the palm plate and under the spool tension cap are 3 X 10 X 4
The bearing on the spool shaft is 5 X 11 X 4
