Re: Real Magic or KVD's line conditioner

I've used both and can't honestly say which is better but you can tell a difference! I am currently using the kvd. If you let it set for about 30min-1hr you can tell the biggest difference it seems. I haven't tried just silicon spray but will give it a shot for sure.

Re: Alphas F 103H

Someone will jump on this as their are several on here that have these. I have an ito now and a 103l (purple one) on the way. I really like my ito alot. I use it for pitching finesse jigs 90% of ther time.

And round. Maybe a less round one will surprise us.

Re: A reel Dilemma

Great!! I am a bit concerned with the hookset, I'm going to try it out Thursday afternoon, but I will be buying either a steez or mg before I go fishing. Man I'd hate to drop the dough for the steez & not like the left. We'll see what happens at the counter Thursday morning. I'm leaning toward the ...

Re: My thoughts on the 7'1" steez and Loomis 7'1"

Oh didnt know that. What type of graphite blanks do they use for their worm rods? They have GLX blanks. I don't know what the Mossback jig rods use though. I think the main difference in the jig and magbass blanks is the tapers. Not sure though. I sure would love a no foregrip split grip worm and j...

Re: My thoughts on the 7'1" steez and Loomis 7'1"

Question: I take it that bass pro did not have a problem with you returning the steez? No it was surprisingly painless. The guys at the counter were more surprised to see one come back more than anything. They asked lots of question as they were curious about the rod themselves. GAMEOVER, I would l...

Re: A reel Dilemma

You guys are ambi-phib-ious ....... er somethin'. I don't know how you switch. I think I would probably cast all ugly girlie style if I went lefty. Good luck CT. That's the thing though. You don't change casting arms so when you make a cast or pitch you are already in position to real or set the ho...

Re: A reel Dilemma

I switched a couple years ago and haven't looked back! If you pitch then I definitely recommend you switch. I went all lefts so it would be the same no matter what rod I picked up. The only trouble I had was setting the hook with my right arm. After one trip though I had it down so it's really not a...

Re: My thoughts on the 7'1" steez and Loomis 7'1"

Thanks for the kind words guys! I was a little nervous of saying anything not wanting to offend someone. GAMEOVER, If Loomis made a 6'10" h and mh worm and jig I would definitely be all over it as that's the size I have pitched with so far. I'm 5'8" so I was a little concerned about the longer rod. ...

My thoughts on the 7'1" steez and Loomis 7'1" jig/

I anticipated buying the Steez for a good two weeks and was pretty pumped up about it. I got my money loaded the family in the car and off to Bass Pro we went (I love going to Bass Pro!). I made a lap through the store and finally pulled the trigger and walked out with the Steez. I played with it fo...

I'm a machinist. I'm not exactly making Donald Trump jealous but it's kinda neat and comes in handy when you have a "government project" to work on. :D

Re: Daiwa Aegis??

I've been lusting after this reel for a while now. Would you guys that have them chose them for drop shotting 50'+ deepwith 6lb line? I didn't know if it held enough line to keep twist down since 6lb is on the high side of it's rating.

I think it would be a sweet setup on a 6'8" steez rod.
