Re: Which 2 rods and reels are you guys going to mainly use this season?
I have started out this year with:
Daiwa Pixzilla on a Daiwa Tatula 7 ft ML
and
Daiwa Zillion Type R on a St Croix Tournement Legend MH 7'3" rod.
I am sure as the year goes on I will use other setups, but these 2 are my favorites and cover a lot of presentations.

They look pretty good, but the Pendolino system looks like might be even more interesting. Has anyone tried this?

Re: Store plastics in worm binder or Plano open storage box?
I keep my some of my plastics in the "Original Bags" and then put them into a 1 Gallon Ziploc Storage Bags. I use a Sharpie to label the bags so I can identify what brand, type of bait and size is in each bag. After each fishing trip I then remove all of the plastics bags and keep them stored in a ...

Re: Anyone know what these are for?
I am going to hazard a guess and say those are backing for braid on the spool? That or a label to put your line lb on for the reel. Those are the only 2 things I can imagine those are.

Re: Okuma spinning reels?
I haven't heard a lot about the Inspira models, but I have heard a lot of good feedback on their Ceymar model, which comes in several sizes. For years before I moved up to my shimano Stradic, I had an Okuma A30 that held up well and performed great for the price. So yeah, I would gamble on an Okuma ...

Re: How Do You Keep Your Fishing Closet Organized?
I got a few of these and they will hold several boxes and a lot of plastic bags. and they stack. less that 20 bucks at wally world and I and glad I invested in them. I may have to get a few more just to finish sorting things out. Dug https://us-i5.tb.wal.co/asr/33011061-c8cd-44ff-a293-f0f5edaf560e_1...

Re: $200 reel vs $400 reel
I offer you this analogy, what does a Ford Mustang GT500 have over a ford Mustang V6. It's not just about greaterp Horseower. There is also a level of refinement overall in the functions that make the GT500 a better car. That is also the case with a $400.00 versus a $200.00 reel. both will get you t...

Re: Grip material weight comparison
That makes sense, and really there is less than 2 grams difference between the Cork and carbon Butts so it's marginal.
I know, every bit counts.....
Thanks

Wouldn't you want to go heavier rather than lighter on the butt grips for Balance?
