Re: Versatile cranking rod

https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/13_Fishing_Defy_Black_Crankbait_Casting_Rods/descpage-CRHDF.html I like the 7'4" and use it for any moving bait. The lure range is 1/4oz to 1 1/2oz, and it handles the whole range well. Good stuff right there and lots of excellent user reviews. And they're cheap, $80...

Re: Stella SW 14000 XG (2019) servicing lubes

I use Wiha brand mostly. #1 Phillips, Torx T6, T9 and I think T8. I don't have a 14K in front of me to double check at the moment. You will need a #0 or #00 Phillips for the small screw that is internal for the rear protector. We use a .89mm hex to pull the rubber plug on the body to gain access to...

Re: Which bfs reel for skipping 4” senko?

I would go with the Aldebaran, it’s the best casting BFS reel out there, just my 2 cents…. ...but not the best skipping reel. Centrifugal brakes are never as easy to skip with as a mag brake reel. Why? A skipping bait will typically rapidly decelerate and free casting nature of centrifugal brake th...

Re: Your most versatile rod?

My new most versatile rod choice is the 13 Fishing Defy Black Crankbait Casting Rod 7'4". It is rated for 1/4oz to 1 1/2oz, and handles anything from 3/16oz T rigs to big topwaters. Its a composite crankbait rod, so it has a med action, with a soft enough tip to throw lighter baits, but flexes deepe...

Re: The Daiwa IMZ is too expensive even for TT?!

Yeah I think the biggest issue is the JDM exclusivity... I am not sure, but I think the app doesn't have an English version and has other specifics that wouldn't translate well in other countries. If this was sold in the US, the price would be $1399.99 :laugh1:    For that kind...

Is there a search feature for the reviews?
Right hand side of the site... scroll down below the ads. Box that says "google" with radio buttons for Web or TackleTour. Click the TackleTour option to search for reviews. ;)
Thanks again.
I just tried it and it worked!
