Re: Which spinning reel company?
I've had really good luck with Shimano Stradic CI4s and Symetre! Been using them for a couple years.

Re: Boca OS7 on Core 50/51 - Feedback
From my experience with cleaning my stock Core bearings, they turned out great. I soak them in a container of lighter fluid and use an ultrasonic cleaner. Sometimes I will hold the container on the air pump while it is pressurizing up. That actually works better than the ultrasonic cleaner. The tri...

Re: EWG Hooks with the Spring Screwlock-Pros/Cons
pros: holds beaver-style baits very well and makes them last longer con: causes salt-heavy stick baits to tear where the hook reenters the bait and good through to the other side after a fish or two con: the twistlocks cannot be used with elaztech-type plastics I have found the same results as you ...

Re: Dropshot rod decisions
I use the DX702 and like it so much I have two of them. That being said, I like Megabass rods and the XX Dropshot looks really sweet. I am interested to hear from someone who has both and how they compare in action and sensativity. Me too, but I have the Champion version of the 702 paired with stra...

Re: Cumara, Champion, or Lengend
The dobyns champion 702s is a GREAT "option". I agree. :D I fished/owned the previous generation Cumara, LTB & the current Champions. Cumara didn't do it for me.
