Re: New Daiwa Steez A broke after second use...
I used the SV103 in salt and the drag got sticky for like 10 mins of fishing. I had to play around to the drag before it loosened up and went back to normal. Edit: Just ordered the Steez A. Hope it turns out good. Good to know. That takes the SV103 out of my consideration. If you are now considerin...

Don't know what price point you're looking at, but the reel seats on the Steez/Steez XT lines are pretty close, IMHO.

Re: Basszone handles
Have some casting and one spinning. Good quality for the price and I've never had a problem with one due to use. On my spinning one, the cap for the none handle side did not want to fit well, so I had to use the factor one (Daiwa Bradia 2500). I did receive a casting one that did not fit. The cut ou...

I didn't get any of those with my Met DC. Can't think of what they would be for either. Hopefully somebody does.

Re: TD-Ito spool in a T-wing reel...
This is exactly why I bought my first Steez TW. I have a 105 ito spool that I have in it and can't wait to try it out this spring. Should be killer! Have you got a chance to try it yet? Yes and its great! Probably my new favorite pitching reel. Not a lot of extra distance, but very easy pitching......

That's what I thought, but wanted to make sure. That's a shame.adam lancia wrote:Nope, from the original to the PX68, they all have similar or the same line capacity. I think even the Cosugi, ZPI and Presso spools have either the same capacity or less.

deeper Pixy spool?
I'm drawing a blank. Was there ever a deeper spool made to fit in a Pixy?
Thanks!
Thanks!

RC Trickster spinnerbait
Know these have a small cult following. After what seems like a pretty long hiatus, back available on TW. Really wish they sold just the blades to put on other spinnerbaits.

St. Croix joins the long rod bandwagon
Well, I guess it's official that this is the next big thing in rods, since one of the big name, most reputable companies is on board.

Re: New Steez TW ALUMINUM for 2017 !
They are in stock at The Tackle Trap, the LH models will be early April. Anyone who buys a new Steez A from TTT using the "TT10" discount code will get 4 Hedgehog Studio handle knob bearings installed at no charge. Unfortunately, the Steez A has none in the handle. Aside from that, it's a great fee...

I wonder how true to specs this rod is :-k Skipping. TackleTrap has better descriptions of the rods on their website. http://tackletrap.com/index....
