Re: Core or ZillionR for fishing jigs?
I learn a couple years ago that making a jig or pitching set up with a lite magnesium reel and a 7 foot plus rod doesn't make a good balance set up :( .I try a chronarch 51mg with a st-croix 7 foot medium action and it fell like i was fishing a 1 oz jig when i only have a 3/8 oz on the line ](*,) .A...

Re: FX2 & SX1
I fish the fx2 since it came out and it is simply the strongest most durable braid i ever fish but i use this braid only for picthing and frog fishing.I use 50lb fx2 and it is pretty much the same diameter as 50lb spider wire .I dont think it is the best braid for fishing moving bait because it is p...

Re: Shimano Chronarch 101B
I had one in the past , i fish it 1 years and sell it.I was a big fan of the chronarch A and SF =D> but i just dont like the long profile of the chronarch B  and the sticky thumbar (like a lot of shimano reel) of this reel when it is raining ](*,) .Mix feeling for the casting perfomance 8-[ , ...

Re: Tubes
I like the original zoom original 3"1/2 small tube for dragging on the bottom for smallmouth when they want a smaller profile tube. For jerking weightless just above the surface during the summer i prefer the strike king 3"1/2 kvd tube.

Re: OK, so now it's not Shimano or Daiwa
Im not hating on quantum products but durability seems to be a serious issue with there reels they don't hold up well at all with alot of use to them. I had the old blue pt tours and gasoline color energy they needed parts a month into the season the kick levers kept going on them I think I went th...
