Re: School me on round reels
Depending on how much coin you want to drop there is always a mono block and lin. The megabass black jungle is a beast. As long as you're not the one selling me the reel, "money is no object " I am still wanting a lin 10 and i have one on my ebay list that i just cant seem to pull the trigger...

Re: Lunker Punkers still in production?
They are starting up again and the preorder cost is 100 seems to match the current auction price. Cu rent users are saying that there are some paint and hardware issues, but this may just be a few people. I would like to get one but i will wait a bit for the retool to be done and the problems to iro...

Re: Daiwa PXL-R Tear Down
Almost all of the daiwa reels i have taken apart are the same. Sol, alphas, pixy, steez, zillion, and advantage htsl are almost exactly the same... One good video should get you threw them all minus a luna, monoblock or other unique reel.
Re: Project T
I will not buy a twing reel and thats just how it is. They will market anything that the consumers want to buy. Enough people want a product and there at the next icast there it is...Uh nope

Re: This poor reel
I have a spinning reel that looks beat like that. Being a shore angler
And slipping a d falling in the stream and along the banks can
Tear a reel up. I don't think that's the case most times but I have one.

Re: Changing Handle Grip on Riveted Post (Daiwa)
If you have a local shop that carries the reel i would see if the 2000 handle will screw in to the 2500 reel. If it does just get the part number and order the handle. Cheap easy and nothing is ruined.

Re: Custom cranking stick x-13
Well then it might not be what i thought. The rating seems very close to the white python MB slant bridge which will throw the full range. I was hoping that it was going to be super versatile. I believe the python is a medium fast rod not moderate but the length and lure range were close.

Custom cranking stick x-13
Was looking at building a big cranking stick for large cranks as small trebble swimbaits. The pheonix x-13 seems to fit the bill perfectly rated .5-3oz. TT gave the production rod a good review minus the handle length which I fully intended to adress. Is this the best 7'6" blank that carries these s...

Re: Which St.Croix to get..
I have three legends, two scv and one sciv. I love my SCV rods and the tournament is ok but just does not have the it factor that my other two do. I have the full cork handle more traditional models and they just get it done for me. The current rods now are 400 dollars and i had my latest scV built ...

Which glide would you buy first.
I know its the TT way to buy both and report back but i am looking at two glide baits and there both expensive. So i will have to buy one and save a little for the other. The two currently on the menu are the PIZZ customs shadely and the hinkle shad. They both seem to catch a lot of quality fish so ...

Re: XX PP for small swimbaits?
My fishing partner loves his and uses it for frogs swim baits and Jigs. TT did a review on the rod a while back and it may be worth your time to do the search. The rod is very nice and the only thing i nit pick about is the real seat is not colorful like the rest of the air beam seats i have seen.
