Re: Unexpected

Did you tell her that's the one you ordered, and that she had to wait for hers?

Re: Avail magnet brake for shimano

The screw-type mag brakes lets you adjust the mag force by putting your magnets closer to/further away from the spool. http://www.avail.jp/shop/products/mb_shsc_05a/index.html I don't think it's particularly functional/user friendly. Re: Noisy ZPI SiC bearing. Rust?

With F-0 Super Conque oil, I didn't have great success cleaning it with acetone. It was weird in that once the bearing was put into acetone, the oil 'flaked' off instead of simply dispersing. Without an US cleaner, I couldn't get those 'oil flakes' off the bearing and found the bearing to spin prett...

Re: Bad News on my Birthday...Now I can understand...

Sorry to hear...

The one thing is that the declaration shows 2 items, when you only received one. The not so good news is that the value of the reels have been under-declared.

Re: Where to get a Conquest 51?

Try emailing Akihito (fishing[at]marunouchishop.com)
He found me a 51S a while back, and prices are usually better than a few of the stores around.

Cheers,

Re: Shimano brake block removal

I've used a plastic ruler in the past.
Just wedge it behind the VBS, and just lightly leverage it off, working from different angles as you go until it comes off/you get enough grip on it to pull it off with your fingers.
