Re: Split Ring Pliers
I use the 5" KVD Braid Cutter and Split Ring Pilers made by Mustad... They are "Ultra-Sharp" for Braid Line.. These are amazing for cutting braid because of the serrated blades--the line never seems to slip, so they cut cleanly and reliably. But in all honesty, these are nowhere near as easy to use...

Re: Store plastics in worm binder or Plano open storage box?
I keep my some of my plastics in the "Original Bags" and then put them into a 1 Gallon Ziploc Storage Bags. I use a Sharpie to label the bags so I can identify what brand, type of bait and size is in each bag. After each fishing trip I then remove all of the plastics bags and keep them stored in a c...

Re: Football Question
When football jigs first became a big thing, it was Jim Moynagh fishing them in the upper Midwest, and the jigs he designed are made by All Terrain Tackle. If you're fishing deep, it's unlikely you want anything under a half ounce. I fish 3/4 the most. There are lots of quality football jigs out th...

Re: LC Staysee Ver. 2 vs Jackall Dowzvido 90
I favor the Jackall Dowzvido Jerkbait 90SP in cold clear waters. It weighs 3/8-ounce and dives 6- to 7-feet deep when retrieved. By using 10- to 12-pound Fluorocarbon Line long distances even though it's a super light bait can be attained.

It looks remarkably like a "Crayfish", and it has the right thickness to flip or just throw on a 1/4 Oz. Football Jig.
