Help with clutch assembly cu200
I have a bantam cu200 and after the thumb bar is depressed the reel re-engages properly about half the time. I removed the handle side plate and found the clutch pawl is jumping its track. I looked for part wear and nothing jumped out at me. Any advice?

Expride reviews/opinions
I've got a chance to buy either a 7 2 mh or 7 3 xh expride for $190. Just wondering what you guys think of this deal and if you own one of the rods what you think of it and what techniques it is best for. Also curious as to how stiff they are. Listed as mod fast, but have done research and everyone ...

Re: Gliss - What do you think?
For what it's worth I know a guy who uses this line a lot and has tested many knots. He said far and away the shaw Grigsby knot is best for it. The knot is on you tube.

question about reel handle length/power/practicality
I was saw a seminar online by an elite pro talking about swapping out stock handles on all his casting reels that he uses for moving baits so that he gets more power which helps him land more fish. Just wondering what people on here think about this. I have a revo winch and exsense and they both hav...

inline swimbait question
I'm looking to buy a couple swimbaits to use in 6 ft. or less during the spring. I'm considering the mini BV 3D by rago or the osprey inline tournament talon in 5.5". I was told to go inline over tophook for fancasting the shallow flats in spring. If anyone has opinions on these or other inline swim...

Shimano JDM fail
Last year I purchased my first jdm reel after much research, the Shimano exsense dc. I mainly threw a toad with it loaded with 50pp and it is a great reel for that, I hauled in many fine fish with it. I keep a stable of just under 30 casting reels and clean them every winter. Well I just took the ex...

Re: Suggested line for Jerkbaits
Question, do you want your jerkbait to sink or be neutrallying buoyant?

Best braid for casting light jigs
I'm looking for a super line option for throwing 3/32 and 1/16 ounce jigs in cold weather. My main stay right now is 10 pound nano. Traditional braid won't work below 32 as it freezes (nano does not). I'm looking at fire line or gliss, high vis preferred. Pound test suggestions would also be helpful.

You guys got me thinking on a new shimano spinning reel
I read the post about a guy looking at a $300 or less spinning reel and it got me thinking. I was about to go to cabelas tomorrow and grab another 2500ci4+. I have one and am very happy with it. Most people I've talked to say it's a better reel than the new stradic fk. Now I'm wondering if I should ...

Looking for new spinning reel $150 to $230
Last year I bought a 2500 st ci4+ and am looking to add another spinning reel to my collection. Just didn't know if there's a jdm reel I should look at. Always liked daiwa spinning reels but swore off them after multiple reels had failure of the one-way clutch bearing in cold weather. I fish a lot i...

Plastics on owner cps hooks
For anyone who has used the owner centering pin style hooks, which do you think is best for horny toads and skinny dippers. I have used the 1/8 oz. Beast hook in the past on toads and like it. Just wondering about the cps xxx weighted hook. I might try the light cps 6/0 3/32 for a skinny dipper.

Thanks geezer. I can't believe in the original 5 inch zipper they only have 1 color. I'm looking for the black with blue tail.
