Re: Catfish Setup??
Why not trying one of the Ugly Sticks especially designed for kitties? Not as fancy as Kistler, but it will carry out the job well.

Re: Haha this cool new gadget will be mine soon.
Congratulations!
Just let me understand....this luminescence system doesn't work with all kind of fishing lines, does it? It must be the Toray line.
I am not a fan of night-fishing, but it seems practical for special ocasions.

Re: Drag and Non-Drag Daiwa Reels
Thanks! I read something about it now, although not sure if I got it correctly. Drag type reels have a "common" front drag system, while the non-drag type ones have a lever that we operate with the hand to release line while fighting a fish. Obviously, you must be more skillful in order to use a non...

Drag and Non-Drag Daiwa Reels
Hello guys, I was checking the characteristics of several Daiwa reels in http://www.plat.co.jp and I was impressed by the DAIWA TOURNAMENT ISO Z2500LB . I realized that the reel is marked as Non Drag Type . I continued searching and immediately saw the DAIWA TOURNAMENT ISO Z2500LBD , which is marked...

Re: Ever caught a snake
I saw a friend of mine catching a little snake in the sea. He was using bread as bait. Funny, a snake eating bread...it was not an eel, it was a real snake

Yeah, a grayling was caught and a pike tried to eat it. That's why I love Scandinavian waters, they are full of agressive fish!

Re: Help! Is this correct for a MB XOR 2 piece?
I'll know by the end of the month. On the 25th my XOR SSR-75ML (together with a SL-68UL) will be shipped to Israel. As soon as I get it I will check it and post it here.

Re: orochi evo review
Yes, there is trout in Israel. But this is not a native fish. People in the kibbutz Dafna in the north of the country thought that growing trout in fish farms would represent additional incomes or at least food in case they could not sell them. However, somehow the trouts managed to escape and go to...

Re: orochi evo review
GamblerHydra, I also asked Megabass USA for the Trout Graphite Spinning Rods family and they promised to send me the price list in few days. They are available for special orders, they don't have them in stock though. However, you could purchase the rod you mentioned from Japanese dealers. But for y...

Re: orochi evo review
Hello! Thanks for your replies guys. In fact the Aaron Martens Limited was already in my list of "must buy", but I wanted to purchase first a fast action rod (although the TT review says it is fast, despite Megabass saying it is Medium Fast). Sometimes it is confusing this way of clasifying the acti...

Re: Fishing for Panfish
Little red grubs (1 inch) with a 1/32 oz red jighead. I have caught lots of panfish in the Jordan River with that simple but very productive lure.

Re: orochi evo review
Hello guys! I registered time ago, but this is my first post :D I am sorry Cal for what happened to your rod. I am an UL/L fishing fan, and I was seriously considering purchasing the Megabass Hedgehog F2ST-65RS Catskill. However, this rod has also a "stinger tip". After reading the review of your Me...
