Re: Concept Z initial impressions. Did I expect too much?

https://youtu.be/pYNEm4I6H8E?t=934 Remember this? big head-scratcher on so many levels Yeah, I don't know how in the world a dedicated BFS reel (SS air) can throw 1/8 oz only 70 or so feet, unless you choke the settings down so that it cannot cast freely. I have a reel with that same spool that can...

Re: Concept Z initial impressions. Did I expect too much?

Oh but im absolutely NOT implying its a bad thing. Just saying that its not worth writing XShip on the box when Daiwa had it forever and didn't even bother calling it as a feature. I agree, but it is a useful feature when compared to something like their S3D spool (increased stability and reduced v...

Re: Concept Z initial impressions. Did I expect too much?

I agree with this. In THE REEL TEST video the Z did actually get the farthest distance. Against Shimanos most important reel in their line-up the Curado K the Z without using ballbearing had the longest cast. No it didnt, curado K out cast the concept z in reel test. Look at the 11:20 mark Yes it d...

Re: Daiwa Tatula HD 153 size

Wonder if a 150 spool could or would replace the HD spool. Only downfall to my Tatula HD is that dang fixed inductor, even though it seems fine for now as a deep cranking/chatterbait reel... You mean if a 153 spool can fit into the original HD reel? Daiwa lists them both as 36mm spool, so im guessi...

Re: Concept Z initial impressions. Did I expect too much?

So....basically summarizing everything on this thread. The Concept Z has proven its point and philosophy. We have developed a new one-piece bearing technology that casts equal to or better than the reels in its class you guys are so caught up in proving what will cast longer you seem to have missed...

Re: Is there a better choice for me then sunline natural

What do you mean by crimp?

I personally use 30lb braid to a 14lb sufix elite mono leader. Iv used the elite for a few years and really like it. Not as supple as super natural, but im using it as a leader so it doesnt matter to me.

Re: Concept Z initial impressions. Did I expect too much?

ya, what was the "Thanks for the review! We needed a good laugh on a Friday! " left by 13 fishing on reel test's video all about? Also, im curious if this concept Z bearing will actually last longer than a standard BB and fully sealed CRBB found on shimano/daiwa reels. Maybe spray some saltwater on ...

Re: Calling all diehard topwater junkys

deps buzzjet, megabass i loud, ima helips grande, jackall binksy, jackall chan wake, and megabass lapstick were ones iv had success in the past. Of those, I really like the jackall binksy because you can slowly straight retrieve it and the blade will clack against the back prop, turning it into a mi...

Re: Megabass dying fish

Iv had one for just under a year, and I think its ok. the going left/right feature is cool, and I use it to sneak under docks, but other than that the bait itself is average. I get more strikes on my bent minnow than the dying fish.

Daiwa Tatula HD 153 size

Anyone know if the physical size of the 153 is smaller than that of the 150? The 150 is the size of the original tatula, would 153 be of CT size?

Re: Black Jungle 7'4" Power Versatile

Wow another opened request for knowledge, going to have to come with more expectations of stated rod my friend. Hollow, soft body, weighted hooks, single hooks, double hooks, assuming braid?, reel choice? Many of these will likely change how the rod will fish for many, so you need to please try and...
