For 300 it'd probably look most at home on a swingfire

Broken SV ramp?
You nailed it. The inductor spins because that ramp is broken. I compared it to a working reel. Thanks man and thanks to the rest of you guys for the info.

Daiwa Sv103 magnets not engaging

I sent my reel to daiwa because of gear problems, got it back and the magnets aren't engaging. If i crank the spool tension it will slow the spool down but the magnets are doing nothing. Any ideas?

Re: I don't use spinning gear at all. Do you?

Spinning gear is great for open water situations, I use spinning setups for smallmouth often as well as walleye and steelhead. Some 15# braid to 10# flouro with an FG knot makes for a sensitive, easy casting set up and you can still kinda bully big fish. The drag systems are smoother allowing you to...

Re: Frog and Punch rod suggestions

This is what you’re asking for and it comes from the editors of Tackle Tour. Although my personal preference is for a shorter frog rod in the 7’ range, if I wanted a rod to handle both duties this would be my first choice and be damn with the color scheme 😁 http://tackletour.com/reviewdaiwatatulael...

Re: Best Rod for Poppers and Prop Baits

Depends on how heavy of popper and prop baits your talking. Most of the stuff i do is half ounce and up so, 14#mono 7MH st.croix LE. If under half ounce you might want a M power rod and lighter line.
