Re: Fish Disney?
You can only fish Disney property as far as I know with one of their guides. From what I have heard it's all catch and release and they have some bruisers. I know one thing it's not cheap.

Re: Furthest Casting LP baitcaster?
I rememeber a while back a group of guys took all the current Shimano models and had a casting contest using the same rods and same weights. They found that the Curado I was the furthest casting of the group oddly enough after taking the averages among them. I realize there are other variables and i...

Re: 4 inches off the back please...
You have to remember a lot of different length rods or blanks come off of the same mandrel. So a 7'9 a 7'6 and a 7'3 rod are all using the same blank just cut down. Yet it doesn't change the rod enough for them to list a different designation of power and action. It is going to effect the rod yes, w...

From the curado to the metanium or the Ci4 you can't go wrong with any of them. I'm partial to the Ci4. if you look around generally you can get more for your money.

Re: North Fork Drop Shot Build
Man I want to like the new PTS seat but I just don't know, nice rod by the way! Thanks Ya...I know what you mean. I like the feel. But... If it were sized like the ECS seats, 1/2mm increments, it would be much better. And the dual channel front hood of large proportions really limits what you can d...

Sorry, just saw this barry. I would recommend the Rod Jacket by Angler Innovations USA (Disclosure- I do know the owners and have done work for them). However when you compare the Rod Jacket with others out there it's night and day difference in my opinion.

Mostly Texas rigged with an 3/16 bullet or wacky rigged, it's hard to have enough patience for true weightless.

Re: Seeker BS706 Build
Thanks for the reply. I dig the thread color choice. Also do you feel like the rod is rated properly for the suggest weight? I struggle with glass. I'm just not a big fan of glass. I tend to feel it is rated a little heavy for how it feels. But glass feels so different than graphite. Yea, this will ...

Re: Seeker BS706 Build
Very sharp looking, i'm assuming cork tape due to the large diameter of the rear?? Also what handle length?? I have one waiting to be built and I find myself going back and forth on what to do with it. Also do you feel like the rod is rated properly for the suggest weight?

Thanks civicrr, I think Fly fishing shops have to be that way, how many people do you know that can just pick up a fly rod and go fishing that kind of mentality is somewhat built in.
